Tim, a technician for RAPP Operations/Precision Door Service, did a great job installing a new LiftMaster belt-driven garage door opener and new garage door rollers. He also replaced a broken hinge he discovered while making minor repairs to a lower garage door panel. The entire job was done in less than an hour and a halve. The belt driven unit, along with the new nylon garage door rollers, was indeed very quite-- could barely hear it compared to the previous chain drive unit. The reason I gave 4 stars vs five stars (the job Tim did was clearly worthy of a five) was due to the amount charged for the parts replaced. However, after to speaking with RAAP's office manager, a reasonable adjustment was made to the final invoice. I was very satisfied with the overall service provided by RAPP/Precision Door Service.

My garage door spring broke on a Friday night at 10:30 PM. Saturday morning 9 AM looking through web pages I saw Precisions web site and was very impressed after watching their videos and reading helpful information that they shared there. Next when I called them at 9:30 AM Sat morning the person answering the phone put me at rest and instilled trust for me in the company. She gave me a window of time that they could be there today 2 to 4 or 2 to 6 I can not remember now but I said that would be so great. Now came the best part, Alex E called AT 2 PM and said he was on his way and would be there in about 15 minutes if that would be good for me. When he arrived he was so professional mask gloves and more. All I can say is that he is so truly good with older people. Also when he arrived he looked things over and gave me 3 estimates of what we could go with and let me pick the one I was comfortable with. Also showed the reason for the each of the estimates, my door is 17 years old. Alex E is the reason I am writing this review thank you for having great service people represent your company... I am so happy with the work he did and how nice of a young man was.

I called this morning and service man called and was at my home at appointed time. We decided to replace the opener completely. He programed all my remotes and both cars. Very good service neat and tidy. Payment and statements were all handled professionally. I would recommend this company in the future.

Called and received service the same day. Everyone was friendly and professional, from Danielle who called me to set up the appt. to Dustin who came out and replaced our garage door opener. Dustin did a great job, explained the problem, gave me options andinstalled a new garage door opener. When he was finished he took the time to explain how everything worked and answered all my questions. I was very happy to have such quick service and I appreciated how nice everyone was to work with.

Precision was very responsive with rapid service and new unit installation. The door works well, is very quiet and the phone app for entry will be a positive for our family. Unfortunately I was unprepared for the 20% additional cost, or about $150, on the final invoice for a new track, fleet transportation and additional supplies. Apparently the verbal quote on which I made my decision was for the unit and openers only. It's unlikely I would have proceeded with the installation if I'd been made aware of the full cost as the initial service call fee is quite nominal; and costs from the onset were significantly higher than those provided by big box stores. It can be argued the Liftmaster is a better quality, and Precisions immediate and quality service is of value, but in the end the final cost was not disclosed prior to installation. Consumer bummer.

You guys were able to come to my home the same day; explain to me what the problem was and outfit me with a new garage door opener that I was comfortable with. My service tech Tom arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and thorough in determining the problem with my garage door opener. He repaired it and even did a quick maintenance check and oiled the springs to make sure the garage door operated more smoothly. I really appreciated the extra effort and although this time I only needed a new garage door remote, I will definitely us Precision Garage Door when the need arises.

Did not consider advertising. Got Precision's name via google. Tom was prompt and knowlegeable. He gave me a figure to replace my door opener. The new opener and necessary parts were in his truck. The job was done an hour or so later, only a few hours after my first call to Precison. The new opener works well. "Please let us know...." what? I give the job done and Tom 5s.

The price was great for the size door we needed, so we yes on the spot. Our appointment was set for one week later. Outstanding, from start to finish. I think I saw your ad on TV, yesterday, but not sure what channel. I thought yeah, that's something I've been wanting to do. He replaced the spring and properly secured the open track back on the wall and lubed and adjusted the door. I have used Precision in the Akron area in the past. I’m now living in the Columbus area. When my garage door opener failed on a recent Saturday, I called them. They sent out crew to my house a couple of hours after my call. The technicians installed a new garage door opener and spring system. I was very pleased with the crew’s work and professionalism. The crew took the time to review the system’s features. The new garage door opener works smoothly and quietly. I highly recommended Precision.
