Alex gave us our quote and was our installer. Alex was able to add insight to questions that arose. He handled the install with ease and we now have a fully functioning, attractive door. I like that the tech who does the quote is also the tech who does the installation. Alex was professional, friendly, and polite. I will be recommending Precision in general and Alex in particular to friends. My only negative about the company is that it can take several people before you get to the one you need.

I had an emergency when the garage door would not open and I couldn't get my car out of the garage to go to work. My insurance company recommended Precision Door Service and stated they have very good ratings. I called Precision and they came to my home that afternoon and fixed a broken metal spring above the door that was 5 inches in diameter and 2 ft in length. The technician named Tom was great to work with. In approximately 1 hour he replaced the broken metal spring with a newer and better spring that has a 3 year warranty and 50,000 uses, meaning the new garage door spring is guaranteed to open and close the door up to 50,000 times. The garage door opens and closes smoothly and is very quiet while in operation. Precision Door Service even honored a $15 dollar coupon that my home insurance company emailed to me to print prior to their arrival. Precision is dependable, has an excellent product at a reason price, the service fee is reasonable, the technician (Tom) was professional courteous and fast! He checked all the mechanics of the other springs and hinges before leaving to insure they were no other metal parts that were no other metal parts that needed repair before he left. This is the first time that I used this company for a garage door repair. The man I selected (Tim) came on time and explained fully what he needed to do, plus he answered all my questions in a very satisfactory manner. The job was to replace a rubber seal on the bottom of the garage door which was too thin. The new rubber seal is so much better and am sure nothing will get under the garage door now. The price was reasonable, and there really isn't any negative that I can say about the experience, only positive things. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

Hello, My garage door is not operating correctly. In last service call tech just pulled out and plugged back the plug it worked. Right now door door goes up and down constantly loosing power. I have pulled the plug several times and plug it back, it works a little while and then no power to the overhead motor. Please call Ken 614 378 9999

Called Precision Door at 4:45PM requesting service for a broken spring. The service technician called the house at 5:00PM saying he would be at the house in 15 minutes. He arrived at exactly 5:15PM. The spring was replaced and he was headed for home in 45 minutes. The spring was originally replaced, by Precision, in 2008 with a life time warranty. The replacement spring was installed at no charge for the part. We only paid for the service call. Excellent service.

We had used Precision in the past. The agent was very pleasant and professional. Although a part had to be obtained it took only one day after the initial consultation to fix the door. The part needed was the rubber strip around the door.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Dustin Keaton. He was personable and pleasantly provided answers to the questions I had. He was a hard worker! I did discover Sunday morning that the garage door did not sit evenly on the garage floor, which was what I was used to seeing before the coil broke and the garage door went askew (not noticeable by me @ 7:30 p.m. when the service was completed) . Therefore I requested that this be fixed. The south end of the base of the door reveals almost a two inch discrepancy, the north end about one inch- now a critter and weather issue. I chose this company finding some companies in the yellow pages who serves my area, and then I requested my son to look up the companies I found who had the highest rating. I was pleased to note that the office staff is pleasant and professional and that I was provided a discount (retired teacher, AAA members, Sr. citizen).

I had an emergency situation with two broken panels on my garage door and simply asked Siri to call a garage door repair store near Galena, Ohio and Siri called Precision Door. I was very surprised that someone answered because it was Saturday afternoon. I was even more surprised that they could come out the very next morning, Sunday, at 9am to help diagnose the problem. Tim arrived on time and was very friendly and helpful. He showed me what was wrong with the doors. He also showed me several replacement options in addition to repair estimates. The service and friendliness was much appreciated.

Very expensive. They changed both springs which I can buy for $80 total at Home Depot charged me over $400, took the tech 20 minutes. Quick and easy fix if you don’t mind paying way too much

Once the decision was made he completed the work, cleaned up and provided instructions on the use of the new Precision garage door opener. We are always so happy with precision garage door!! I wouldn't use anyone else!! In fact we have your phone number right inside the garage right next to our entry into the house!! This time it was about 4:20pm when I had just gotten back from running an errand. I closed the garage door and heard a not so great noise and noticed the door was cockeyed and not closed. I couldn't believe this had happened at that time of the day and on a Friday!! I immediately called your number which I always have handy and talked with rebeccca! I couldn't even believe we could possibly get service later that night!! Wow was I ever surprised and soo happy!! Our wonderful technician even arrived earlier than promised around 7:30 and he worked in the hot hot closed garage and even though our cars were inside he was able to safely and so efficiently repair the broken cable cord and he tightened up everything so that our garage door was straight and working like a gem!!! jWe have a two car garage with a single all wood door which is extremely heavy and the time before precision replaced our large spring coils and they have been the strongest longest lasting large spring coils we have ever had! we have had them replaced multiple times in the past by other companies until we found precision garage doors and their spring coils, still to date, are just perfect!!! We just couldn't be more pleased and I know our neighbors just couldn't believe our cockeyed door was fixed within just a few hours on a Friday and later in the evening when it broke!! We have another neighbor that still have a cockeyed broken door days and days later!! Your company rocks and all the employees from front office to technicians are just the most honest, hardworking, wonderful folks we had the pleasure to do business with!! Thank you all sooo much!!! Unbelievable great fast service!!!

I purchased my garage door opener approximately 10 years ago from Precision Door Service. I have had two or three occasions to call them for service including today. The technicians are always on time and extremely professional. Today this issue involved my lights not coming on when the door open and closed. Learned a lesson - my opener because of age does not take LED bulbs. I needed the old fashioned bulbs. The technician took care of that problem and lubricated my door (his suggestion). Great company.
