We liked knowing who are tech was going to be. Tom was very professional and did a good job. We expected that our new garage door installation would include the weather stripping around the door opening and the security lock on the inside since that had been our previous experience with another company. We were disappointed that that turned out not to be the case. But overall we were very satisfied and would recommend Precision Garage Door Service.

We did install and sell you the weather stripping with a $50 discount. We always recommend replacing both springs even though only one spring was broken on your garage door. Both springs would be the same age so if one breaks, the other is likely to follow. Also, the new spring can cause tension on the old spring because it has more age and wear, the old spring has to work harder to keep up and can break. Replacing both springs is always the safest option. The 25 point safety inspection indicated that your center and end bearing plates were worn and needed to be replaced. I would definitely give Precision Door and Tom, my service technician, 5 stars for their outstanding service. My garage door broke on a Saturday evening. I had gotten another quote for replacement and was told it would be 30 days before a new door could be installed. I decided to get a second opinion and called Precision Door on Sunday morning. By 5 pm on Sunday evening, Tom was scheduled to come to my home to give me a replacement estimate (amazed and grateful I could get someone so quickly, especially on the weekend!). Tom was professional and knowledgeable and told me if my door was in stock, they could install the next day. I received a call first thing Monday morning informing me the door was available and could be installed on Tuesday. Tom arrived on time and within a few hours my new door was installed. I should note that Tuesday was supposed to be Tom's day off, but he knew I wanted the door installed as soon as possible , so made arrangements to make that happen. I would highly recommend Tom and Precision Door to anyone who needs service or replacement garage doors. Thank you so much!
