We have had a problem since the door was installed, but I think we now have it fixed. You might consider putting in new wiring with the garage opener. Gregg used the old wiring and that was the problem. Thanks, Chuck

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad we had the opportunity to make things right! Though prior wiring can typically be installed through drywall (possibly into the framing of the house) and sometimes requires an electrician to address appropriately, we've passed on a memo to all technicians to make this assessment and always replace when possible, as a safest practice. The springs on my garage door broke late on a Sunday evening. My garage door was stuck in the down position with my car trapped inside. I am a physician and needed my car to get to my medical practice for my Monday morning clinic. Jim came quickly that very evening, and fixed the problem efficiently. The bill was reasonable and affordable. Sears did not even bother to answer their phone or return my call.
