Thank you for your prompt, same day/night service. The garage door was stuck open at least 2 feet (not very safe for overnight). Tom was friendly, courteous and professional. I felt comfortable and safe having him doing the work in my home. I think the email confirmation, pictures of the techs is an excellent idea. He called prior to arrival to let me know when he would be arriving. Answered all my questions, explained everything well. The work was completed in a timely manner. Superior, quality work! Great service and timely response. My garage door opener finally quit after 19 years - call Precision at 9:30 am and had a service technician at my home by 11:30 am. Gregg installed (2) garage door openers (since one was bad I figure the other would go soon too) and he had both fully operational by 3:00 pm. Gregg was very professional, courteous and fully explained all features of the new system.

I would definitely give Precision Door and Tom, my service technician, 5 stars for their outstanding service. My garage door broke on a Saturday evening. I had gotten another quote for replacement and was told it would be 30 days before a new door could be installed. I decided to get a second opinion and called Precision Door on Sunday morning. By 5 pm on Sunday evening, Tom was scheduled to come to my home to give me a replacement estimate (amazed and grateful I could get someone so quickly, especially on the weekend!). Tom was professional and knowledgeable and told me if my door was in stock, they could install the next day. I received a call first thing Monday morning informing me the door was available and could be installed on Tuesday. Tom arrived on time and within a few hours my new door was installed. I should note that Tuesday was supposed to be Tom's day off, but he knew I wanted the door installed as soon as possible , so made arrangements to make that happen. I would highly recommend Tom and Precision Door to anyone who needs service or replacement garage doors. Thank you so much!

i checked the yellow pages in the phone book, i also checked bbb and found nothing to cause me concern. the fact you are a franchisee was a good thing because if there was a big problem, i could contact the corporate office. since my opener was not working, same day service was a plus. the e mail that was sent with tech name and picture was appreciated. the tech made sure to explain everything fully.

I chose Precision for our garage door repair because they would come to our area and had discounts to offer. John exceeded my expectations in service and diagnosing the problem within a couple minutes. He discovered that the "seeing eyes," the safety feature, had some loose wires. John told me that he just needed a five minutes to it. Sure enough, he had fixed the wires, greased the track and started on his paperwork before that time was up. Thanks for driving from Columbus - the drive was 3 times as long as the job. With such a great service, Precision is well worth calling any time your garage door malfunctions.

Six years ago I moved into a new home development and it appears like the contractor, MI homes, had a contract to install Wayne Dalton garages. Unfortunately, when the parts malfunction, service can only be provided by the contractor who installed the Wayne Dalton products. I called the company who installed my garage and received a voice message requesting me to leave information and someone would return my call. Since I needed service and strongly disagree with the monopoly game between MI and the contractor who installed Wayne Dalton products, I searched the internet and read the reviews of Precision and decided to call. I agree that the service is prompt and professional but I definitely paid for it. To replace a broken spring cost me $569.95 and this was with discounts. The technician informed me that the parts I had were cheap and Precision parts were of better quality. Unfortunately I found out that I could have received the same parts a lot cheaper. I think you are doing an excellent job in selling your service but your prices are high. Also after reading the comments on the web, someone mentioned that they had a life warranty on their springs that they purchased in 2005. I received a 5 years warranty. I think the cost would be justified if I had received a life warranty. Thanks for the opportunity to express my opinion.

I called about 9:00 am and the door was fixed by 2:45 pm. Tim was professional and courteous. He explained things thoroughly and I paid what I expected to pay. This isn't something you want to deal with every day, but I'm a customer for life at this point. Well done.
