As it turned out, my 26 year garage door opener only had a hiccup and the technician was able to do a reset and had it operating in minutes. There was no charge for this, how nice! I had him give me estimates for new equipment and I will have Precision install it when my old opener fails again. This is a fine company.

Our garage door springs broke at lunchtime and Precision was able to get someone out by 4:30 pm on the same day. Joe did a tremendous job in replacing our springs/bearings for our garage door. The service tech was kind and friendly and very helpful and took time to explain everything clearly. Even though he offered “a $50 off coupon” the price for what took about 10 minutes to complete was still too high. It was just a matter of getting my garage door opener system reset and working (included reprogrammed the outside keypad). For just that I was charged approximately $160.00. That to me is unusually high for 10 minutes. Also I did not receive a paid receipt in my email which I expected to receive. I would still like to have a paid receipt.

The door that Precision installed a couple of years ago started making a load noise when closing. Joe W. quickly discovered the problem - the door was hitting the opener arm on its way down. He adjusted the arm higher and solved the problem in a matter of minutes. Excellent work.

Communication was terrible--service tech told me I had three options to get my garage door working... #1 Good $1155; #2 Better $1515 or #3 Best $1715... no description of what I was getting, only that if I went with #2 it would have a 10 year warranty. So based on seeing a screen on his phone with just the information show above (no details)... I picked the middle #2! After the service, I received an e-mail showing the options listed above with the details of what all was included (first time to know what I was getting)... AND I noticed, the warranty is only for 7 years NOT 10! They have no paperwork, no pamphlet, no warranty certificate indicating what is and what is not covered. Later, I received an e-mail from the owner of the company-asking me to write a review-but if "for any reason you are not totally satisfied, I would consider it a favor if you called and gave me the opportunity to redress the situation". So I called, obviously I was not permitted to talk directly to him. I talked with someone who argued with me and told me the office manager would call me back... that was on 5/15,,, NO ONE HAS CALLED! Be careful, ask for proof of what you are getting, know your warranty, ask for paperwork! Hopefully, if anything does go wrong they will honor their service?????
