Joe arrived today ahead of schedule (after checking with me) which I was grateful for, and was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He gave me 2-3 different options and I chose the one that worked best for me. I appreciated his candor and honesty regarding the repair. I used to be with another company where the owner retired and sold it to Don’s and although I have tried them once, I was not nearly as impressed with them as I am with Precision. He diagnosed the issue and politely explained it in as much detail as requested. We were very appreciative of his patience and professional demeanor. I called Precision Garage Door of Columbus to repair a garage door spring that broke. I chose Precision because of their excellent on-line reviews and I am glad I did. Precision technician David Morgan arrived promptly. He thoroughly inspected the garage door and he clearly explained everything to me. I authorized the service to be performed and the garage door was repaired. The charge was reasonable. David Morgan did an excellent job and I highly recommend both him and Precision Garage Door of Columbus to anyone who has a problem with their garage door.

The Technician, Tom Palmer was very helpful. We called, thinking we needed a new battery. He thoroughly inspected everything. He noticed that the springs were worn and needed to be replaced. Also, he noticed the wood holding up the bracket (Spring Pad Lumber) was cracked. He also replaced the weather seal on the bottom of the door. He was able to take care of everything within a couple of hours.

Be aware of your pricing on parts before you contact them. They wanted $265 per strut to help support the door but, was willing to price match Menards at $20 per strut. They charged me well over $300 per spring and you can get them from Meards for under $100 each. I will ondy use them again if it is a warranty issue.
