We had a cable break on our garage door the evening on Tuesday 4/26 we called Precision Garage Door (we have used before) got apt.set for next morning at 8am..service tech Tim Tomlinson was here at about 8:10am and completed the service and was gone before 8:45…replaced 2cables and adjusted the door all under warranty we purchased back in 2005 from them…Outstanding company with very professional staff

I called Precision on a Sunday afternoon when my garage door would not open. With a couple of hours Derek was in my driveway! He explained the other things that were going bad on a 33 yr old door and stated that they weren't critical at that time but I elected to have them done to avoid my vehicle being stranded again in the future. To my surprise, he was able to do them right then and there - on a Sunday no less! I did not realize just how bad the rollers, cables, hinges, etc. were on that door until he was finished and it's SO quiet and works so well that I am glad I found Precision.

When my garage door stopped working, Precision was there the next day. The technician was great. He didn't just tell me what was broken- he showed me. Gave me a number of options to save money. Replaced our 32-year-old motor, changed the springs, fixed some broken hinges. The door is now so quiet and smooth we are shocked. It has NEVER been this quiet. Our dog always wakes up when I open and close the garage door to leave in the morning. She slept right through this morning.

The whole process from the start was very easy. Tom was my scheduled technician. He called soon after my initial call to Precision. He gave me an estimated time, and arrived a few minutes early. Columbus was on a level 2 snow emergency which Precision still made the appointment without issues. Tom was very professional and explained several options for me to choose from. He gave me an estimated time to finish which he was accurate on. Excellent workmanship. Door works much better and quieter than before. Kayne called ahead and arrived on time. He was very courteous and we appreciated that he asked about wearing a mask. After inspection he gave us three options for the repair. We chose to have him refurbish the current door. He explained a double car door like ours needed two springs and we only had one. He installed two new springs, bearings, hinges, rollers, cable, drums, a new operator reinforcement bracket and adjusted the door opener stops. Afterwards he explained everything he did and showed us the operation of the door. It works like a new door! We are very pleased with Precision and especially Kayne's professional appearance and friendly demeanor. We will definitely use your services again.
