Great experience and wonderful technician. Mike was very thorough and offered me multiple options to fit my needs. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase a certain model. Precision Garage Door Service has been our go-to company for any garage door issue we’ve ever had over the past twenty years or so. Most recently, in a three year old house we purchased nine months ago, we called in Precision to evaluate a door that was obviously underpowered and not working well. Precision’s technician, Jonnie Swartz, thoroughly evaluated the situation and plainly explained each of the issues he diagnosed and the corrective measures that could be taken along with the cost of each one. Jonnie was great to deal with and, after our discussion, he efficiently and effectively corrected every problem. We now have a garage door that works like new ! We particularly like Precision’s customer service and attention to detail in scheduling and performing any needed work. We have found the professionalism and skill of their technicians to be first rate on every job the company has performed for us.

I called this afternoon to get a price to replace the seal and then to do a tuneup. Their quote was very good compared to other companies I had called. I asked them to schedule an appointment and they actually said they could be there this afternoon in about an hour hour and a half.. Joshua, my technician called about 15 minutes before he got here. He was right on time.. I explained to him what I want done. He finalized the quote for me.. the garage door sounds better after the tuneup. He replaced with very a nice tight seal. Joshua was very nice and polite and I would recommend him in precision for any work.

Joshua was so kind and helpful. He completed the repair quickly and gave us suggestions of how we can maintain things ourselves to avoid future issues. The cost was extremely reasonable as well.

My issue today was a keypad key that was sticking. The technician said all that could be done was to replace the keypad. I had the door openers installed in June 2023 by Precision. He suggested I check the warranty. I keep all the paperwork, brought it all to the technician, he noticed there is a 5 year parts & labor warranty, so he took a picture of the invoice showing the warranty line and replaced the key pad. All is good now thanks to the technician's suggestion.

Matt replaced my cables and installed new rollers that are self enclosed and do not need lubrication except on the shaft. James reprogrammed our garage door opener. Other company told us that we need to replace the unit. We were charged $69 by Precision to reprogram, while other company was asking $1,200 to replace the opener (Which was not needed).

Not cheap but the repair request was responded to quickly on a Saturday night and the service person was on site the next morning as communicated. Installation was executed without any delay. And things have been working just fine.

I have used Precision Garage Door when at a previous house in the Columbus area. Because of great service in that house, I didn't hesitate in calling them recently for a garage door issue in a fairly new house. I was able to easily schedule same day service via their website and the service technician was very prompt and personable.
