We called Precision Door on the recommendation of a neighbor. We had returned from an evening walk to find that the garage door would not open because one of the springs had broken. We called and asked if someone could come out ASAP since our schedules were such that we needed the door repaired quickly. Walker came to our condo at 9:20 pm and he was terrific. He was an experienced tech and got right to work. He had the spring(s) replaced and we paid him by about 10:10 pm. We bought the heavy duty springs and he also recommended we replace the bearings at both ends of the rod and the bearing in the middle of the two springs. Walker was thorough and you could tell he was excellent at his job. Thanks for the responsiveness and the quality of the work performed. We appreciate it.

Job was to replace an existing garage door that had been damaged. Technician arrived on time, removed all parts of the existing garage door (panels, rails--everything but the garage door opener) and installed a new identical door. Technician was knowledgeable, quick, thorough and personable. Overall OUTSTANDING SERVICE.

David S. is a personable and professional technician who was able to diagnose an intermittent condition that caused unreliable and frustrating operation of our garage door. David also pointed out deficiencies with the existing door components that deterred the effective operation of the door, and that placed undue burdens on the opener. His explanations of the issues were logical and easy to understand. David proposed a number of possible solutions that allowed us choose a cost effective resolution to our problems. He installed a new opener and performed an overhaul of the door components that provided the best warranty for our budget. And additionally, he got everything done within tight time restraints that allowed us to meet our personal obligations. When he left our home, I told him that his employer wasn’t paying him enough! David’s knowledge and workmanship created our loyalty to Precision Garage Doors.

When I called Precision Garage door, it was initially because they don’t have ‘out of normal hours’ charges, and what a relief. My technician, Derek, was extremely professional and very nice. I have technical repair experience myself, and he didn’t talk down to me, and explained everything. Even showed me the springs and parts he had that were available to be used for my setup. Went with the upgrades, and I am 100% confident this will last me a long time. The warranty is also excellent, even if I think it’s unlikely I’ll need warranty service! I would recommend Precision Garage Door to anyone who needs service, or a new install. The price is absolutely worth the peace of mind. Thank you!

I choose based off of a google search and recognized the name from advertising that I had seen. I had called the previous company that I had used and they never bothered to return my phone call. I called Precision late morning and by mid afternoon the service technician was onsite. Clearly explained the issue and provide options for repair which was done quickly. Our garage door is 9 years old, we noticed a defect on the lateral sides more the right than the left, the wind will make the door to shake. I contacted the company and made an appointment for that to be repaired. Michael was our technician, he was personable, professional and client friendly. Looking for a sixth star! Tim was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, prompt and a great communicator. As a new, new-build owner I have so many decisions to make as we settle in. Having someone show up with multiple options and all the parts who was able to explain the pro's and con's of each system in a "kitchen table English" manner was much appreciated. Tim finished the installation in under an hour. When Tim left, everything was working and he took the time to demonstrate to the whole family.
