Eric was a great technician for us - answered all our questions on options and pros/cons, did a good job on installation, and clean-up. We appreciated the weekend and evening availability for quotes, quote on day of meeting, prompt requotes when we altered work and coordination of the work. They only suggestions I would have would be to have extra color samples since that took more effort than it should and that our opener model does not have a feature to turn on the light when the beam is crossed - the only items that reduced rating. Product choices were good and pricing competitive.

Tim did a great job replacing a broken spring after hours. He mentioned a service special which would also replace the rollers...which was something I had thought of doing from time to time. Tim worked quickly and with quality...the only noise you hear now is the hum of the opener.

He tested the door. He offered insights to what might be future problems with my 13 year old door. Quick. Accurate. Clean. No problems whatsoever.

Three hours after the spring broke, it's fixed. I called right away, you send John right away, and it's as good as new. He found some other issues with the door and recommended a few pieces be replaced, but he explained why. He also told me about a few other things, but he was honest and said he didn't think those items needed replaced. Cost was a little pricier than I expected, but for such speedy and great service, I don't mind paying a little extra.

I was so glad they had 24/7 service as our spring broke on a Saturday with our car in the garage. Tim was right on time for the appointment and was finished in an hour. He was very nice and polite and took the time to explain everything..

We called Precision because we had them before and they did a fine job. This time they responded on emergency basis, at 8pm, were very friendly, assessed the problem, resolved it, and left within 30 min. The technician was John Manning, very capable, explained everything, and offered some tips for long term. This is the type of experience you want for these problems. I had another local company repair my broken garage door springs since 2008 in a new build. Since that time I have had four broken springs which I thought was unusual. After researching and talking to neighbors this didn't sound normal so I decided to have another company look at my problem. I found Precision Door from an internet search and read about the 25 point inspection and same day service. I called and they came out within 3 hours. Eric took the time to explain to me why the springs kept breaking and also noticed some of the hinges were cracked and one completely broke. Not to mention some bearings were wearing out. At no time did the other company mention nor looked at these other main components, they replaced the spring and left. I feel confident now that this garage door is fixed right this time and even have a 3 year warranty on parts. I would definitely recommend Precision Door if you want it done right the first time with qualified technicians.
