We were having trouble closing our garage door. We called late in the day but someone was out the very next morning. Matt Eberly was our technician. He was well groomed, pleasant and very capable. When you are letting someone into your home those things mean a lot. He diagnosed the problem and made the repair quickly.

My garage door began acting erratic on a Sunday morning. I decided to call Precision Door, looked up their number thinking I would give them a call first thing Monday morning. I was surprised to see they were open. Gave them a call and was able to get scheduled that day. The technician, Joseph arrived at the scheduled time. He was very courteous and professional, explained the problem, had the parts needed and had my door repaired within an hour.

Job was to replace an existing garage door that had been damaged. Technician arrived on time, removed all parts of the existing garage door (panels, rails--everything but the garage door opener) and installed a new identical door. Looking for a sixth star! Tim was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, prompt and a great communicator. As a new, new-build owner I have so many decisions to make as we settle in. Having someone show up with multiple options and all the parts who was able to explain the pro's and con's of each system in a "kitchen table English" manner was much appreciated. Tim finished the installation in under an hour. When Tim left, everything was working and he took the time to demonstrate to the whole family.

Our service technician was David Simpson. He went over all the different parts of the door and provided options with no pressure to do any additional work. He answered my questions, explained the wearing of different parts on the garage door, just very knowledgeable. We have older doors and also needed one of the indoor garage door openers replaced. Again he explained the options since our model was no longer available. He was prompt, stuck to the cost estimate he provided as well as the timing to complete the job. I am most appreciative of his positive, friendly attitude while answering my questions as the service call was well after "normal" business hours. I ended up replacing springs, cords and rollers on both garage doors due to the age and wear of the components. The price was fair and the service was completely timely.

Our technician (David (A) - Simpson) was excellent! He was very professional and thorough. If we ever have garage door issues again, we will probably choose Precision and hope we get David! David diagnosed our issue as a bad motor. We definitely would have had David install a new one if the estimate of a Genie 1/2 HP chain drive ($695, $595 with coupon) would have been within $100 of a Loew's Genie 3/4 HP belt drive ($392 installed), but the $200 difference was too much to ignore! Actually, I installed myself and saved an additional $100. I don't mind paying for good service, but don't appreciate being gouged. Again, nothing but great reviews for David, just not impressed with Precision's pricing!

Service tech was good and service was prompt. But the pricing was taking advantage of us as we had limited choice and need out garage Door repaired. If we have have to utilize services for the door we won’t call you.
