I had a new garage door installed by Precision that popped a spring after about 6 months. The spring actually pulled apart from its mounting bracket. The repair technician, Adam Moore, arrived the same day and discovered that the door springs that had been installed were too small for the door, which caused stress on the spring and caused it to pop apart. He replaced both springs with the proper size and the door opens much easier now. Thank you to Adam Moore for his competency, knowledge and expertise in correcting the problem.

I called to have what I thought was a minor problem fixed on my 30 year old door. The technician game to my home at the prescheduled day and on time. As I started pointing out to the tech my other annoying little problems with the door, the tech explained to me how all of these little problems were actually related to each other. He quickly gave me an estimate to have all of the minor problems fixed as well as some ideas of what will need to be taken care of sometime down the line should I be staying in my forever home. I gave the go-ahead for the repairs and in short order, it was done. Now I feel like I have what seems like a new door. Wow. I should have had this all done two years ago when I moved in. Very grateful to the tech for the work done.

Two words describe James’s diagnosis and repair service skills: honesty and integrity. We discussed the main reasons I was having issues with my door opening. Solved on the spot. I purchased new rollers to replace the 20+ year old originals. We also addressed how the recently repainted door and new frame trim were the probable cause. No pressure; he left the roller decision entirely up to me.

Our door opener needed repair. I called precision, whom I had used before. The came by late morning on the morning I called. I wasn’t home, but my son was there. Carlos called me and gave me information along the way. I ended up replacing the opener since it was 22 years old. So communication was great. It works wonderfully and much quieter. Though, I was taken aback by the cost , way more than anticipated. Mostly on labor and install side, since part isn’t overly expensive.

I put in a service request around 11:20 am and already had a technician at my door by 1:00 pm! Tom was so kind and took the time to explain what was wrong with my garage opener, why it was wrong, and all my options to repair or replace. I really appreciated that I could have chosen to either repair or replace my opener same day, and I wouldn’t have had to wait for a second appointment either way. I chose to go for the replacement, and Tom was very efficient and walked me through all the main controls once he was finished. He also made sure to test other aspects of my garage door for safety, which I felt was extremely thoughtful. Thank you, Tom and Precision!

I was pleasantly shocked at how nice and knowledgeable your technician, Patrick Mulligan, was yesterday.. I explained to Patrick that my garage door seemed to be working fine, but I wanted some preventive maintenance done. Patrick explained to me the various levels of maintenance he could service, and the cost of each. Totally my choice! No high pressure! As he finished the job, Patrick explained to me exactly what he had done. Excellent follow-up! As far as your company’s response. I called late in the afternoon this week, Patrick arrived at approx. 8:20 a.m. the next morning, calling me first, that he was on his way. Excellent service! The only suggestions I want to give is that I think you could cut back on your TV ads, and you need more detail on this page concerning the service done. Look at my case. I probably used 6 service jobs on your list, and you only gave me one choice! Thank You.

Because you are a Genie dealer, I made appointment for a technician to come replace my keypad on August 1. After the keypad was replaced, I was looking for an itemized receipt showing the costs for the keypad and the costs for labor. I received a receipt, only after calling to request one, which showed the cost of the keypad to be $173 and then $20 for “fleet maintenance”. There was no itemization and it really looks like I got gouged for the keypad. When my husband called, Kimberly told him that the company would knock at least $93-$100 off the payment and refund it to our card. That was on August 1. It is now August 6. The money has not yet been refunded - AND - when the keypad was used to leave the house today, it FELL APART IN PIECES!!!! We will be calling later to address that with your company. I am so disappointed with your service and explanation of costs that I wish I could give ZERO STARS!!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Precision! Our garage door opener system broke unexpectedly. I made a call into Precision late in the evening on a Monday and they had someone at my home to help the following morning on Tuesday. Mike was extremely helpful and kind. Something happened to the cable that wouldn't allow our garage door to close when we left for work in the morning. Called Precision around 7:30 am and they had a technician at the house at 10:00 am. He discovered the cable jumped off the wheel. Nothing was broken. He corrected the issue and re-adjusted the door. Very happy with the quick response and professionalism of the field tech.

I had precision install a new door in July of 2023. No problems with it until recently when it started making some noise while going up. I called and got someone here next day. He had to realign the door due to settling. Now no more noise and the whole thing is quieter than when 1st installed. Fine job every time I have used precision.

Our garage door was not closing anymore so we contacted precision. Our whole garage door system had been recently replaced in 2018. They stated that our whole safety system needed replaced which would cost over $1,100. We have a toddler and a newborn at home so we had it replaced. I thought it seemed very expensive. After talking with my dad, he took my itemized statement to his garage door company and they stated I was over charged by about double and that some of the parts replaced would not of needed replaced for what was wrong with the garage door. Super unfortunate since the salesman saw that we had a newborn and he still overcharged us by double for our garage door, replaced parts that didn’t need done, and took advantage of us. I Definitely do not recommend and I will let my coworkers know to never use this company and let my neighborhood Facebook group to never use this company!
