I chose Precision today because they had installed all new parts in 2021. The technician explained what was needed to fix the problem today and recommended changing other parts that were showing wear! My service was OUTSTANDING! David called me around 11:00 and said he was in my area and if I was free he could come over now instead of 4:00pm. I wasn’t home but told him that was fine I would meet him there. We both arrived at exactly the same time . He was very polite and took the time to explain what was wrong and what I needed to fix my issues. When he was finished he took some extra time to help make sure the opener in my car was working as well as the remotes, keypad, and button by my back door. He also showed me how to change the light bulbs in the motor box. In my opinion his customer service skills are the best I’ve ever seen. I hope I don’t have another issue for quite a while but if I do I will certainly ask that you send him. He also cleaned up and took all the old parts with him. My garage door really is a lot more quiet now. Thanks Mike ODell

Our 7-18-2024 garage door opener replacement and door maintenance by Gary from Precision was one of our best home improvement experiences. With the heightened increase of storms in our area and possible electric outages, we wanted to be sure we could always leave/enter our garage. Gary clearly explained the battery back-up openers available from Precision, including all of the costs involved with each. There was no pressure at all in this selection process, just good information. While installing the new opener, Gary identified non-opener situations with our garage door that caused some operational problems we had described to him, and we authorized fixing those issues as part of this job. The result of installing a new opener and fixing those door issues has been a revelation: the door now opens and closes very smoothly with little noise, no more jerking and clattering, and the battery back-up works perfectly. We would definitely recommend Precision (and Gary) to anyone needing garage door work.

Precision is responsive, friendly, professional and their technicians “know their stuff.” I also appreciate that they don’t to “up sell” you. I especially want to call out Adam Huston. LOVE HIM!! He is great - just as I mention above - responsive, friendly, professional and he knows his stuff and explains it to me in ways I can understand. Prompt, courteous service with a fully stocked truck and no sales pressure! Precision installed new cables and springs 11 months ago and I was very pleased. I called today with a warranty question and received a rapid response - all covered under warranty! Adam Moore was very pleasant, explained what he saw as the difficulty; quickly and professionally solved the situation. We also discussed replacing my opener. He supplied two estimates; explained the similarities and differences; was gracious when I said I would wait on replacement.

We have been using Precision since 2007. We initially purchased a complete overhaul package, which at that time came with a lifetime warranty. You never really know if a company will truly honor such a warranty for a lifetime but Precision amazingly has. We have contacted them a number of times through the years for warranty service and they have always cheerfully come through, the same day, and once even on Christmas Eve. Today was no exception. Our technician Tom, not only fixed the broken spring, but did a complete inspection and found cables that were wearing out and possibly needing replaced in the near future. He replaced them along with the spring, lubricated the door and made sure everything would be running smoothly for the foreseeable future, with only a charge for the service call. I have nothing but good things to say about this company.
