On a Saturday afternoon the spring on our double garage door broke. I called Precision and scheduled a time for 12 to 2 on Sunday. The technician arrived timely, looked at the door and within 25 minutes provided a list of the work required. After agreeing he went right to work and finished in the timeframe he had estimated. He was excellent, he explained everything he did and gave us tips on how to maintain everything. 5+ stats for sure! He ess courteous, professional, and friendly.

Anthony from Precision came out within 2 hours of my call. He quickly diagnosed the issue and explained my options. I decided to replace my 17 year old opener with a brand new model. The spring on our door broke on a Monday evening and they were able to send someone first thing Tuesday morning. He arrived on time, was very friendly and got the job done quickly. He also noted a couple things to watch for in the next year but didn’t put any pressure on me to pay extra and fix them now, and I appreciated the honesty. Frankly, there are other companies who could do the repair for less, but I knew I’d be getting it done quickly and correctly by a company who stands behind their work, and that makes paying a little more worth it to me.

We had garage door installed in 2022. Noticed it was catching and noisy. Called for service. Tech came out same day. Tech was prompt, personable and knowledgeable. Adjusted springs and end rollers. Door was under warranty so no charge for service. Would recommend company.

Last night when I returned from walking the dog and closed the garage door it sounded like it had crashed onto my car. Thankfully it hadn't, but wouldn't open. I called Precision - open till 8 - and scheduled a technician (Jason D) for 1st call this morning. My 3 yr old house, with a builder grade garage door opener, had already broke its spring. After reviewing my options, I went with replacing it and 2 hrs later I have a much quieter and, no doubt, more reliable garage door opener. Jason was extremely courteous and professional, as noted on his previous reviews. He was great at explaining what had happened and the difference in quality of products. If available, I will ask for Jason if a future need arises.

I have learned from my recent repair. First do not go with a company that charges a fee to come out to look at your door. I have found many companies that do not charge. Anyways I had someone come out for 2 springs and 2 cables. Just as reference you can get 2 springs from home depot for about $150 and two cables for $20. I know that these springs are probably not as good or whatever. The guy was very nice and knew what he was doing. I received a quote for 2 new springs (regular ones not the strong ones) and 2 cables for $900.00. My jaw about hit the floor. I asked why it was so high and he couldn't answer me. I politely ask the gentleman to leave and paid $50.00 for the visit. I called another company, was able to tell them what the issue was and was given a quote of $400.00 if that was truly what the problem was. I understand that if there was more to do, it would of course be more. There was no charge to come out and the man came in, made the repair and I paid $400.00. These days I feel like everyone is trying to gouge you. Precision, I feel like you are one of those businesses. I will spread the word so I feel better about losing my $50.00
