Had a 16-year-old spring break on my garage door this morning (nothing else sounds like that noise coming from your garage!). I contacted Precision after a quick web search for help, and saw their great reviews and promise of same-day service. I set up the appointment via their online live chat. Their representative, Mike, showed up the front end of their appointed time slot. Very personal and professional, he offered me some options, and completed the job in under 2 hours. Could not have been easier!

Shame, shame on us for not doing our homework on the typical cost to replace a garage door lifting system. To their credit (although I am so angry that giving this "credit" tastes like bile in my mouth), Precision came out in a timely manner to replace our 7-year old garage door lifting system. They replaced everything (except the door and the opener) and we are happy that the door is again working. HOWEVER, the bill was $3000! That is not a typo...$3000. They also performed an assessment on our other garage door and offered a $500 "deal" if they replaced it today. We did not pursue the 2nd door as I didn't feel good about the price. Once the work was done and we had paid, I still felt uneasy about the charges. So I finally spent the time to find out if our $3000 bill was typical of other companies in the area would charge. The estimates have been $500 to $625 FOR THE SAME products and labor. Again, shame on us for not doing our research, but BEWARE of this company. We have never experienced this level of a ripoff in our lives and are shocked that the technician could even keep a straight face when talking to us. "What dopes", he must have been thinking.

Hello, I cannot remember why I called Precision over 5 - 10 years ago, but I have used them 5 or 6 times for various problems since then. They have always come quickly (my calls always seemed urgent), this last time they were able to fix the door, text me a picture, while I had to be away. Perhaps more importantly, their pricing has always been fair and the people, from the office to the repair personnel, always pleasant and willing to take time to explain. I appreciate all of this.

A part on my garage door was broken. One call to Precision put me in touch with a service person who scheduled me for service the next day. I was given a choice of 2-hour openings. The technician called to let me know he was on the way and showed up promptly. He immediately spotten the problem and had the correct part on his truck; he told me what the cost would be. He fixed the problem quickly and demonstrated to me a door that opened and closed properly and was secure. I paid with my credit card on site. I appreciate the technician--his knowledge and personal approach--and Precision for their realistic TV ads (using real employees, not actors). I will refer friends to Precision.

We selected Precision Garage Door Service with confidence for our emergency situation (on a Friday afternoon at 3pm) because we look for BBB ratings and reviews before contacting for service. Your two employees (Aaron and Charles) handled our frightening situation with professionalism and knowledge. We were comforted by their attention to our needs and their obvious expertise and skill. We sensed they enjoyed their work. Our damaged garage door now operates as good as new with the repairs (vs replacement) which were made promptly and efficiently - like magic! I called Precision Door Service today at 1100 hours . My key pad and remote opener were no longer functional . Both car openers did work . Thomas Timmons the technician arrive at my home at 1230 hours … only 1/12 hours after I made my initial call to the company . I explained my issues with Thomas within 45 minutes he replaced my key pad with Liftmaster pad and reprogrammed my remote . All this while it is very cold outside . Very pleased with their professional treatment to me as their customer. Great job! Rick
