Great experience. David Crowe, one of your senior technicians, is simply fantastic. Precision Door installed a "high lift" on our garage door to move the tracks and opener higher so I can put a lift in that bay and store 2 cars there. Our technician, Adam, thoroughly inspected our garage door. He caught rust issues that the competition missed. He was very knowledgeable and patiently explained the issues with our 40 yr old door. The cost was reasonable for the repairs that were needed. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

The representative had my garage door issue resolved in about 20 minutes. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. There are two reasons Precision gets a three-star review. Firstly there is a $20 Fleet Transportation fee added to the bill. I inquired about this and was told it’s for gas and the wear-and-tear on the truck involved in driving to appointments. I stated that I wasn’t going to pay this fee. It is a business expense. Joshua was able to give me a discount of the same amount. Lastly the charge is a lump sum total. I asked how much of the total charge was the item and how much was labor. The representative stated that he didn’t know. It’s all together. Since the needed the work completed and it was already finished (the representative could have undone the work and just charged me the initial fee) I paid the total without the breakdown but I felt like the company wasn’t being honest.

Gary was very thorough and explained the options for the repair, which I appreciated. He was up front about what was needed to fix our problem, but was not pushy in any way. He gave us a time frame of how long it would take and he was right on that, too.
