I called Precision simply from their ads on tv. They sent two guys out the same day and they repaired the broken spring to my satisfaction. The guys were very courteous and did a nice job. This would be five stars if not for the sales tactics used, which is on the company, not the service guys. First price they gave me was $1500.00 to repair a broken spring on ONE door! I told them I’d have to pass and get other quotes. Then the dance begins. They were able to find some discounts and get the price down to $558.00! Amazing right? Still more than a spring repair should cost IMO, but everything is high due to a moron in the White House. A lot of repair companies use this tactic and it really is a dishonest way to run a business. What ever happened to honesty and integrity? Again, the guys they sent were great, the sales tactic disgraceful. And for this reason, I won’t be calling Precision again.

The door that Precision installed a couple of years ago started making a load noise when closing. Joe W. quickly discovered the problem - the door was hitting the opener arm on its way down. He adjusted the arm higher and solved the problem in a matter of minutes. Excellent work.

first time using this company but all the reviews i read were accurate. From the time i called til the project was finished, we were completely happy with entire process. This company epitomizes customer with quality service and quality people! Dustin called ahead to letus know he was on his way and he arrived with in time-frame we were given. He was personable, explained what he was doing and answered my questions ..he was polite and conversational and he did a great job. I needed to walk my dogs and felt completely comfortable doing so as Dustin knew what he was doing and I felt confident in his reliability and trust-worthiness. Poor Experience My experience with Kimmie (sp?), Operator who took my call was positive. A same day appointment was scheduled and she let me know the process: 1) technician performs complete inspection 2) technician provides an estimate of work and cost 3) $49 charge if you choose not to proceed with the work. David arrived promptly within the window of time. He noticed immediately my door made “a lot of noise” upon opening and said he could alleviate with lubricant, which I replied great. David quickly diagnosed the issue as faulty wiring. Although manipulating the wiring seemingly resolved the issue, he was unsure if it would last and cautioned it might reoccur. He said the cost of work was $209. He could further fix the wiring issue, ensuring it would not reoccur for an additional $100. OR, we could pay the $209 and take the chance the issue would not reoccur. However, if he came back out (although he knew the issue) it would be an additional $209. At this point I had not received a written quote, only a verbal cost of $209. When I mentioned an additional $209 to come back out if the issue reoccurred seemed high: 1) given he knew the issue and 2) seemed inconsistent with the $49 charge quoted by Kimmie; and our exchange did not feel like a positive customer experience. I mentioned at this point not to proceed with work and I would pay the $49 for him coming out; (again the charge Kimmie quoted ). David seemed frustrated in our exchange and said I would not be charged anything, to which I responded “great”, and he proceeded to leave. It was a poor customer experience, SOPs (standard operating procedures) were not followed, complete with the up-sale of an $800 wireless control. Maurice Markey
