We made an online appointment and the very next morning Derek was at our home to diagnose the problem and replace our unit. His customer service was excellent - he went over the issues and solutions in detail, talked through payment options, and after the job was finished thoroughly reviewed all components with us for use and maintenance. He didn’t try to oversell us and reaffirmed the parts of our system that were in fine working order. The new unit is working perfectly and we’re very happy!

We had used Precision Door Services years ago for garage door springs replacement. When the door started to drop with a thud, we decided it needed attention. The young man, David Morgan, explained our options and we selected to have the door reenforced and new springs. He was courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and went right to work explaining we he went to my husband. We are very satisfied and will continue to be a loyal customer.

First the technician James was just awesome! Polite, fun to talk with and knowledgeable about the products and repairs. We gave him a tough problem there was no easy solution and we knew it. He finally came up with a plan and came back the following morning with a custom repair. No "off the rack" replacement but a thought out repair, cutting and altering the standard rails and pulley system to fit a new Genie system into a difficult and cramped location. No time was wasted, I was charged the quoted price, and it works fantastic. So much better than the older chain driven, partial opening door set up, he replaced. My wife liked him too.

Spring busted on our garage and the technician came right out and offered us a quote, which we accepted not expecting to be taken advantage of. They completed the job fast and the tech seemed very good. However, I uploaded the receipt into ChatGPT and was told “you paid at least double the going rate for Columbus” among other negative feedback about our bill. I researched around and other companies quoted 2-3x less than what this company said. Did not anticipate predatory, used-car sales tactics from a supposed reputable company. Will never be using this company again

Thankfully, a bolt had just fallen out and Matt was able to remedy it quickly. He pinpointed the issue and had it done in less than 30 minutes. Alona Moran was superb in her visit. She took the time to explain (and audibly) show me the difference between an insulated garage and a non-insulated one. She also told me the pros and cons too. She was prepared to give me written quote detailing the materials and charge. Her warm smile and demeanor was relaxing. There was no pressure( i was doing varios estimates from different companies today). She gave me a nice folder with her card, two estimates and info on steel garages. you are REALLY blessed to have her on your staff! Thank you.

I chose precision because this was the fourth time that I’ve called them in the last few months. My garage door has had many problems. It’s 95 years old. Anyway, the guy came really fast. He was very apologetic. He fixed it. He made sure everything else was working well and he left ..Again very polite apologizing for having to come out again.

I highly recommend Precision Garage Door Columbus. Pat from Precision was fantastic! We called them for a garage door opener repair in July 2025. Our garage door opener broke on Friday, we made an appointment for Sunday morning, and Pat was there on time (with text and call in advance). He quickly diagnosed the issue (broken springs, other parts worn), gave us a range of options to replace the broken and worn parts. He then fixed it right away. The whole thing took less than 2 hours, and the garage door opens like new. About $2300 for parts and labor, but everything works and was prompt.
